Offering our guests the chance to compete for significant savings on our cozy log cabins. Inspired by the Winter Olympic Games taking place in nearby Vancouver, British Columbia, in February 2010, guests may choose to compete for the Gold, Silver or Bronze Medals in one of three categories: Short Track, Cross Country, and Freestyle. Those who qualify for “Gold” will pay $159 per night, while “Silver” medal winners pay $179 per night and “Bronze” winners pay $199 per night. Entrants may pick from these competitive categories:
Short Track competitors will receive significant savings on a last-minute getaway:
- Gold Medal – book a stay less than 24 hours prior to arrival
- Silver Medal – book a stay between 24 and 48 hours prior to arrival
- Bronze Medal – book a stay 72 hours or more prior to arrival
Cross Country competitors are awarded based on the mileage from the contender’s home postal code to Lakedale Resort:
- Gold Medal – traveled 250 miles or more
- Silver Medal – traveled between 125-249 miles
- Bronze Medal – traveled less than 125 miles
Freestyle competitors will be rewarded for indulging in the serenity of Lakedale without the distractions of everyday life. Participants who leave their cell phones at the front desk upon check-in will receive savings based on how long it is stored:
- Gold Medal – stay three or more nights
- Silver Medal – stay at least two nights
- Bronze Medal – stay only one night
