Getting Here - Ferries
The ferries provide many amenities for travelers. Local and national newspapers are available, as well as well-stocked information kiosks to help you plan your visit.

The ferry schedules change quarterly, so it is important to consult a current schedule when planning your trip. Washington State ferries provides current scheduling information by telephone at 206.464.6400 or 800.84.FERRY. Scheduling information is also available by visiting their website at: www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/. The Victoria Clipper has regular service from Seattle, visit their web site at: www.victoriaclipper.com. The Victoria Express offers passenger ferry service from Port Angeles and Victoria, B.C. www.victoriaexpress.com

Fares vary according to the size and height of your vehicle, as well as the number of passengers you carry. Children under age five travel free, while children ages 5-11 travel at half fare. Persons 65 and older, as well as disabled passengers, travel at a reduced rate. Round-trip fares are collected on all travel from east to west, whether from Anacortes or inter-island. Return tickets are not required on any ferry runs except those from Sidney, B.C. Reservations are not accepted (except for the Sydney run).

The Washington State Ferries make two daily trips from Anacortes to Sidney, B.C. during the summer months. Reservations for the Sydney trip are encouraged and can be made by calling 800.84.FERRY.
